Senior UI/UX Designer

We develop a SaaS platform that leverages product 3D digital twins for e-commerce visualization. Our core system components include a 3D Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, an interactive 3D configurator builder, and a virtual photography studio for generating high-fidelity product images and renders. We utilize Unreal Engine for rendering and deliver our interactive experiences and DAM visualization via pixel streaming to the web.

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our product team full time on a contract basis. In this role, you will own the user experience and interface design across all system components, with a primary focus on UX architecture and usability.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design Strategy: Own the UX and UI for core system components, including the DAM, Configurator builder, Virtual Photo Studio, End User Configurator Reference UI, API integrations and pixel streaming dashboard.

• Iterative Enhancement: Continuously improve our tools interface experiences by integrating the latest technological advancements, user feedback, and market best practices.

• Competitive Analysis: Monitor the landscape of DAM, Streaming and 3D visualization solutions to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge and incorporates industry-leading workflows.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with product management to translate business requirements, sales requests, and user feedback into actionable tasks for the development team.

• Technical Handoff: Develop comprehensive design artifacts and documentation to guide development and establish clear testing criteria for QA.

• Rapid Prototyping: Create interactive, clickable prototypes to validate concepts and present proposed solutions to business stakeholders.

• Advocate for the User: Articulate and defend design decisions to the team and stakeholders, effectively balancing user needs with business objectives.

• Design Operations: Expand and maintain our comprehensive product design system within Figma.

Required Skills & Experience

• Robust Portfolio: Demonstrated past work highlighting complex system design. Experience with DAMs, 3D web visualization, or comprehensive e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.

• Tool Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, with strong interactive prototyping capabilities.

• Communication: Native-level fluency in written and spoken English. Must be highly available for collaboration and meetings during standard US business hours.

• Development Handoff: Proven track record of seamless developer collaboration and efficient design handoff.

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to assess needs, present concepts, and manage expectations across technical and business teams.

• Platform Versatility: Deep experience designing responsive web for desktop, tablet and mobile.

• Technical Acumen: A solid working understanding of HTML/CSS and WCAG accessibility standards.

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine applications or hands-on experience using 3D design and CAD software is a strong advantage.
