CFO / Head of Finance

Our client is an established international holding group operating across trading, logistics, and investment sectors. Headquartered in Limassol (Cyprus) with cross-border operations, the group is establishing this newly created C-level role to consolidate global financial governance, treasury, and investment management.

Position involves direct reporting to the Owner and full legal employment based in Cyprus (flexible relocation window / remote onboarding available).

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Modeling: Drive group-wide financial modeling, dynamic budgeting, capital allocation, and long-term planning.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Oversee multi-currency cash flow, working capital, and global liquidity management.
• Consolidated Reporting & Compliance: Deliver accurate consolidated IFRS statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and ensure tax/regulatory compliance across EU and offshore jurisdictions.
• Banking & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison with Tier-1 global banking partners, external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsels.
• M&A & Investments: Direct investment portfolio performance, conduct financial due diligence, structure M&A transactions, and evaluate strategic business opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven financial leadership (CFO, Finance Director, or VP of Finance) within international multi-jurisdictional holdings.
• Corporate Structuring: Strong track record in cross-border tax optimization, substance, and multi-entity financial consolidation.
• Balanced Expertise: Ability to maintain a 50/50 strategic balance between corporate financial controls and active investment/M&A execution.
• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (European Higher Education degree or European-accredited MBA/CMA is preferred).
• Languages: Professional fluency in English and native/fluent Russian.
• Mindset: High autonomy, proactivity, and partner-oriented communication style for direct Founder engagement.

Nice to have

• Internationally recognized certifications (ACCA, CFA, CPA, or CMA).
• Working knowledge of Greek.
