Senior Data Architect with GenAI / RAG / Agentic AI experience

We’re looking for a Senior Data Architect with strong enterprise Azure Data Architecture experience to work on data platforms supporting GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications.

The role focuses on designing the data architecture behind AI-powered applications — including how enterprise data and knowledge are ingested, prepared, stored, governed, and made available for retrieval and AI consumption.

This is not a hands-on RAG or AI Agent development role. The role focuses on designing the data architecture around applications using RAG and/or Agentic AI patterns.
Your responsibilities

• Design data architecture for enterprise solutions supporting GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI use cases
• Define how structured and unstructured data is ingested, processed, stored, governed, and made available for AI consumption
• Design and evolve data platforms using Azure services
• Work with data modeling, metadata, and data-platform design
• Contribute to platform modernization and architectural decisions
• Take ownership of architecture and technical solutions
• Work with enterprise data and knowledge sources to support retrieval and AI use cases

It’s about you

• Strong experience in enterprise Azure Data Architecture
• Hands-on or strong architectural experience with Azure Cosmos DB 
• Proven experience designing data platforms for GenAI / RAG use cases 
• Experience with AI-ready data architecture 
• Real project experience where you designed or contributed to the data architecture supporting a RAG, GenAI, or Agentic AI application 
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Databricks
• Azure SQL / SQL Server
• Azure Data Lake
• Lakehouse architecture
• Azure Functions
• Strong data modeling skills
• Experience with structured and genuinely unstructured data
• Experience with metadata and data-platform design
• Experience with platform modernization
• Strong architecture ownership
