Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer

PROJECT

The project is focused on building and maintaining secure enterprise infrastructure platforms for the public sector. The team designs, automates, and operates Kubernetes-based environments with strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, platform hardening, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation.

As part of the project, you will contribute to large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives involving Kubernetes orchestration, GitOps practices, enterprise security solutions, and air-gapped deployment environments. The role includes active participation in technical discovery, architecture design, implementation planning, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure
• Lead infrastructure delivery activities from the discovery phase through production rollout
• Make architectural and technical platform decisions aligned with Customer requirements
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code practices
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Configure and support secure cluster operations, secrets management, and platform hardening
• Collaborate directly with Customers, vendors, and external stakeholders during technical workshops and solution discussions
• Analyze existing infrastructure environments and identify optimization opportunities
• Prepare technical proposals, implementation plans, estimates, and delivery roadmaps
• Troubleshoot production environments and perform root cause analysis
• Support compliance, security, and operational readiness requirements for government environments

• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team

   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, networking, and security
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Experience implementing GitOps practices using ArgoCD or similar tools
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CI/CD automation and software delivery pipelines
• Knowledge of secrets management solutions such as OpenBAO or HashiCorp Vault
• Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak
• Understanding of infrastructure security, CIS benchmarks, and platform hardening
• Experience working with production enterprise infrastructure environments
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
• Experience communicating directly with Customers and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

   

Would be a plus:

• Experience with OKD or OpenShift administration
• Experience with Ceph storage solutions
• Knowledge of Helm packaging and customization
• Experience with air-gapped environments and restricted infrastructure
• Experience with vSphere administration
• Experience delivering solutions to external hosting providers
• Background in government, eGov, or registry-based systems

• Understanding of compliance and operational requirements in public sector environments

Обовʼязки:

• Проєктувати, впроваджувати та підтримувати enterprise-рівня Kubernetes-платформи та cloud-інфраструктуру
• Очолювати процеси delivery інфраструктури від етапу discovery до production rollout
• Приймати архітектурні та технічні рішення щодо платформи відповідно до вимог Customer
• Автоматизувати provisioning інфраструктури та management конфігурацій із використанням практик Infrastructure as Code
• Впроваджувати та підтримувати CI/CD pipelines і GitOps workflows
