Senior Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build and support reliable data pipelines and platforms.
 

You’ll own solutions end to end - from understanding requirements and designing the architecture to building pipelines, monitoring production, and improving performance.
 

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from databases, APIs, and other sources
• Design data models, analytical tables, and warehouse structures
• Write clean Python and advanced SQL
• Work with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Build incremental loads, deduplication, and safe reprocessing workflows
• Set up data quality checks, monitoring, and alerts
• Improve pipeline performance and cloud costs
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability
• Work closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Document pipelines and technical processes
   

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in Data Engineering with production pipeline experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Solid ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing experience
• Hands-on experience with Airflow or a similar tool
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of data quality, monitoring, testing, Git, and CI/CD
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
   

Nice to have

• Spark / PySpark
• Databricks / Delta Lake / lakehouse
• Kafka, CDC, or streaming
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
