Engineering Manager
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager (AI Platform) to lead a small full-stack/AI team building our LLM-based enterprise platform for legacy system modernization. This is a true player-coach role - you'll keep reviewing code, making architecture calls, and shipping features, while growing and leading a team of engineers.
We're looking for someone with high intrinsic motivation - an engineer-leader who's genuinely excited about AI, eager to push the boundaries of what's possible for our customers, and able to energize the team around that mission every sprint. This is not a role for a pure people-manager who has stepped away from hands-on work.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable AI-enabled software solutions, primarily using Python, React, LLMs, and related modern frameworks
- Review code, contribute to architectural discussions, and help establish engineering best practices
- Lead and grow a team of 4–8 engineers, fostering strong collaboration within the team and across departments, aligned with US Eastern working hours
- Intelligently leverage modern AI-enabled coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to build better software, faster
- Stay on top of the latest AI developments and apply them to solve real customer problems
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and delivery of new value every sprint
What You Bring
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, plus 2+ years managing engineers
- A strong track record as a player-coach: someone who moved into management recently and still actively writes code
- Excellent, proactive communication skills in English, comfortable working directly with clients
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Fast, proactive learning ability - especially critical in the rapidly evolving AI space
- High motivation and drive to deliver impact every sprint while building a stronger, faster-moving team
