Lustre Software Engineer/Storage Systems Developer

Tieto Tech Consulting is looking for a Middle/Senior Lustre Software Engineer/Storage Systems Developer to work with our customer – leading global technology company (USA). The ideal candidate should have a strong expertise in the Lustre distributed file system and Linux-based storage solutions.

Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain software components for Lustre file system environments
• Contribute code to Lustre and related storage infrastructure projects
• Design, implement and improve automation, CI/CD and testing frameworks
• Analyze system performance, troubleshoot complex storage issues, and optimize large-scale environments
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on architecture, development and validation activities
• Support integration, functional and regression testing of storage solutions

Qualifications

• Understanding of distributed systems, storage technologies and high-performance computing (HPC) environments
• Practical knowledge of Lustre architecture, internals and development
• Strong software development experience in Linux environments
• Experience with Python, Perl, Bash or similar scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Gerrit, Jenkins and automation frameworks
• Ability to investigate complex technical problems and deliver production-quality code.

Will be an advantage

• Experience with large-scale test automation and CI/CD infrastructure
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Ansible and cloud-based testing environments
• Background in HPC storage products and parallel file systems
