Business Development Manager (BDM) — VMware

About the Role

Softprom is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead sales and partner channel development for VMware (Broadcom) solutions across Ukraine and Georgia. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the partner ecosystem, and representing the vendor relationship within the region.

Requirements

• Proven track record (3+ years) selling VMware and other infrastructure IT solutions
• Experience building and supporting a partner channel
• Strong knowledge of the IT markets in Ukraine and Georgia
• Solid understanding of the VMware solutions portfolio
• Knowledge of VMware licensing models
• Familiarity with the specifics of project-based sales
• Strong negotiation skills and experience
• Experience working with tenders
• Higher technical education
• Proactive, results-driven attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Kyiv-based location preferred

• References from previous employers will be an advantage

   

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver on sales and margin targets
• Manage ongoing, systematic work with the partner channel
• Plan, analyze, and implement tactics to grow sales volumes
• Drive target growth in sales volume and market share within the region
• Analyze the market and competitive landscape
• Actively source, recruit, and retain partners; build strong business relationships with partners across the assigned territory
• Track key deals and maintain an up-to-date pipeline and forecast
• Conduct effective negotiations and manage contract closing
• Maintain effective communication with the vendor
• Organize training sessions for partners and customers
• Plan marketing activities together with the marketing team
• Oversee contract approval and signing processes
• Provide reporting to the vendor

• Manage CRM data: maintain the client database, log key activities, and keep the pipeline current
