Senior Product / Project Manager (Web & E-commerce)

We’re looking for a strong Senior Product / Project Manager to lead one of the most important product and technology transformations at MTicket — the launch of MTicket 3.0 and the transition away from our existing legacy platform.
This is not a coordination-only role.
We need someone who can take ownership of a complex cross-functional initiative, bring structure to ambiguity, align product and engineering teams, manage dependencies and risks, and drive the platform all the way to production.
The ultimate goal is clear: MTicket 3.0 becomes the core production platform, all critical sales flows are migrated, the legacy system moves to read-only, and the team transitions from migration mode to developing the new platform and AI capabilities.

What you’ll own

You will lead the transition from the existing MTicket platform to MTicket 3.0, working closely with engineering, product, design, QA, business analysis and operational stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the MTicket 3.0 migration and launch from planning through production.
  • Audit the existing platform, functionality, integrations and operational dependencies.
  • Define and maintain a clear migration roadmap, scope, priorities, owners and dependencies.
  • Coordinate migration of critical functionality and data from the legacy platform.
  • Drive delivery of key platform capabilities including payments, APIs and website integrations.
  • Coordinate multiple engineering and business workstreams.
  • Ensure critical ticket purchasing and sales scenarios work end-to-end.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, blockers and delivery risks.
  • Drive the transition of the legacy platform into read-only mode.
  • Support the rollout of new AI capabilities, including an AI chat MVP and AI-powered analytics.
  • Ensure teams stay focused on business-critical outcomes rather than simply completing tasks.
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, blockers and decisions required.
The project itself is structured around a full audit and freeze of new legacy development, migration and build-out of MTicket 3.0, stabilization of end-to-end sales flows, and finally full production launch.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has already owned complex digital products or technology transformation projects and knows how to turn uncertainty into a clear execution plan.
You should have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Project Management, Program Management, Product Ownership or a similar role.
  • Experience owning complex web, e-commerce, marketplace or transactional products.
  • Proven experience taking large cross-functional initiatives from planning to production.
  • Experience working with legacy systems, migrations, platform rebuilds or major system transformations.
  • Strong understanding of technical products involving APIs, integrations, payments and data flows.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers and understand technical dependencies and trade-offs.
  • Strong experience managing several teams or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into clear scope, priorities, owners and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong risk, dependency and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to challenge priorities and protect critical delivery scope.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadership.
  • A high level of ownership and independence.

It would be a strong plus if you have

  • Experience in ticketing, event tech or entertainment platforms.
  • E-commerce, marketplace, fintech or payment product experience.
  • Experience migrating a legacy or monolithic platform to a new system.
  • Experience launching a new platform while the existing production system remains operational.
  • Experience with AI-enabled products, LLM-based features, conversational interfaces or AI analytics.
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Experience working directly with founders, CEO or CTO.

What success looks like

Success in this role is not measured by the number of meetings, tickets or completed sprints.
You will be successful when:
  • MTicket 3.0 is successfully launched in production.
  • Critical functionality, data and integrations are migrated.
  • Ticket sales operate through MTicket 3.0.
  • Key end-to-end sales scenarios are stable.
  • The legacy platform is moved to read-only.
  • The AI chat MVP is live and usable.
  • Engineering teams can move from migration mode to continuous development of MTicket 3.0 and AI functionality.

How we work

We care about outcomes rather than activity.
Project stages are considered complete when the agreed readiness criteria have been achieved and critical blockers have been resolved — not simply because a date on the roadmap has passed.
The PM is expected to maintain clear visibility across:
  • results achieved;
  • current status of each workstream;
  • blockers and risks;
  • decisions required from leadership;
  • priorities and expected outcomes for the next stage.

The kind of person we’re looking for

We’re not looking for someone whose main strength is maintaining Jira boards, running ceremonies or collecting status updates.
We’re looking for someone who can enter a complex product environment, understand how the business and technology actually work, identify what matters, create structure, align strong technical teams and take responsibility for getting the final result into production.
If you enjoy solving complex product problems, working closely with engineering teams and owning meaningful business-critical launches end-to-end, we’d love to talk.
