Intermediate Python developer (offline)

In this position, you will be able to make the decisions on your own while communicating with the British customer directly and work with the latest version of Python. You will have regular trips to the United Kingdom as well.

About the project: Touch Stay was created in 2013. Tired of always asking the owner for advice on the home and the area and ignoring the old-fashioned, forgotten welcome book, the founders decided to set up a more modern and versatile welcome book that guests will read, AND find it useful.
This is how they had the idea to create a digital welcome book, allowing hosts to share their best advice and addresses with travelers from all over the world and bringing the locals and travelers even closer. Today, thousands of properties and guests are using Touch Stay’s software.

Required skills:
- 2+ years of experience with Python 2.7;
- hand-on experience with Django 1.7, Django REST framework and Django templates;
- solid knowledge of SQL and MySQL 5.5 in particular;
- understanding of GIT-flow and Gitlab;
- basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JQuery and willing to perform basic Front-End tasks as well.

Responsibilities:
- develop new feature and improve existing functionality;
- suggest optimal tools and libraries use;
- implementation of REST API for the dashboard and other parts of the project;
- write reusable, testable and efficient code;
- regular communication with the client.
