UI/UX Designer — Creative Video Platform
 

About the project

We are building a platform for filmmakers, actors, videographers, and other video creators to showcase their work, build a professional portfolio, share projects, and understand how people interact with their content.

The product combines a portfolio platform, video sharing, and deep real-time analytics in one place.

Creators can upload finished work or works in progress, share individual projects with specific people, create their own portfolio website, and see detailed engagement data — including who viewed their work and how they interacted with it.
 

The product is being developed across Web and Apple mobile applications.
 

What we're looking for
 

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can help us create a product that feels genuinely exciting and different.

This is a creative product for a creative audience. We don't want another generic SaaS dashboard or CRM-style interface.
 

We are looking for someone who can bring:

• Strong visual design and attention to detail
• Creative thinking and the ability to create a real WOW effect
• A strong understanding of UX and user flows
• Experience designing modern web and/or mobile products
• Ability to create visually distinctive interfaces while keeping them intuitive and usable
• Understanding of typography, layout, motion, interactions, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to take a product idea and turn it into a polished experience
• Willingness to experiment and propose your own ideas rather than simply follow specifications
   

What you'll work on
 

Depending on the project stage, your work may include:

• Designing the creator portfolio experience
• Designing project and video presentation pages
• Creating sharing and privacy flows
• Designing analytics and engagement experiences
• Designing mobile application screens for iOS
• Creating responsive web experiences
• Developing and maintaining a consistent design system
• Improving existing UX flows
• Working with the development team to make sure designs are implemented accurately
• Communicating directly with the client and incorporating feedback
• Exploring new ideas and concepts for the product
   

What we value most
 

Creativity > templates.

We are particularly interested in designers whose portfolios demonstrate strong visual thinking and original product design.

Experience with creative industries, media, video, entertainment, portfolios, or creator platforms is a plus, but not required.

What matters most is what you can create.

We would rather see 3 exceptional projects than 20 generic dashboards.

We are especially interested in seeing:

• Web and iOS mobile products you've designed
• Creative or visually distinctive interfaces
• Products where you were responsible for UX as well as UI
• Examples that demonstrate your personal design thinking

If your portfolio mainly consists of standard admin panels, CRM systems, tables, and dashboards, this probably isn't the right project for you.
