QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a HealthTech project focused on web, tablet.

This role requires a highly independent QA professional who can take ownership of the testing process, define test strategies, validate complex API workflows, and collaborate directly with developers and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, extensive API testing experience, and is comfortable working in fast-paced environments where quality processes are still being established.
 
Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial QA experience;
• Strong knowledge of software testing theory and SDLC;
• Experience testing web and responsive applications across multiple devices;
• Strong experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools;
• Experience creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, and other QA documentation;
• Experience working independently and taking ownership of QA activities within a project;
• Experience using GitHub and Jira in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Experience validating authentication and session-based workflows (JWT, SSO, session management, or similar);
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher;
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web, tablet, and mobile applications;
• Design and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, and Checklists;
• Execute functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing;
• Validate complex REST API workflows;
• Review requirements and identify missing scenarios and potential risks;
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis;
• Validate authentication, authorization, and session management flows;
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies;
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders;
• Proactively improve QA processes and testing practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Would Be a Plus

• Experience working on healthcare or HealthTech products;
• Experience testing AI-powered features or AI integrations;
• Experience validating AI-generated responses and non-deterministic systems;
• Experience testing responsive applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices;
• Experience with Playwright or other UI automation frameworks;
• Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL queries;
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines;
• Basic knowledge of AWS environments;
• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SSO.
