Chief Technical Officer

     About the project

Codebridge is looking for a CTO to lead our technology — architecture, technology choices, and the technical quality of what we build for clients. We want a leader who can discuss technical decisions with a client's CTO as an equal and represent our expertise convincingly, and who is a real authority inside the team — someone who motivates and leads by example. AI is deeply embedded in how we work, and we expect our CTO to take it further.

     Responsibilities

• Drive the technology strategy and architectural direction across projects. 
• Lead the technical side of client conversations and the sales process — talking solutions with the client's technical leaders, architecture reviews, solution design, pre-sales. 
• Set and uphold the engineering bar — code quality, testing, architecture, and technical process — and own delivery, so projects ship on time, stay maintainable, and true to the architecture. 
• Own how we use AI in development — the tools, standards, and practices for building with it well. 
• Be the main point of technical escalation across projects. 
• Evaluate and introduce technologies, tools, and practices that improve quality and speed. 
• Own technical risk: architecture, scalability, security, and technical debt. 
• Be the technical authority inside the team — set the example and raise the level of the engineers around you. 

     Requirements

• 8+ years in commercial software development, several of them in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead / Architect / Engineering Manager / CTO). 
• Strong software architecture background — able to balance maintainability, flexibility, testability, and time to market with modern architectural patterns. 
• Solid hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, and .NET, and sound architectural judgment across them. 
• A track record of making AI a real part of how engineering works, not a side experiment — and of pulling a team up to that level. 
• Experience with cloud and SaaS/PaaS platforms (AWS, Azure). 
• The technical depth and communication to discuss solutions with a client's CTO as an equal and represent our expertise convincingly — including hands-on solution architecture and pre-sales. 
• A natural authority inside the team — you motivate and lead by example. 
• Experience owning technical quality across multiple complex, high-value client projects at once. 
• Ownership and a responsible mindset, focused on outcomes. 
• Advanced English or higher.
