Requirements
- Prior experience at a crypto VC, hedge fund, research firm, investment team, M&A, or corporate development
- Familiarity with legal structures common in crypto: Cayman foundations, BVI holding companies, MiCA compliance
- Experience building financial models: Three-Statement Model, DCF, scenario analysis
- Experience developing scoring or valuation models/frameworks
- Ability to work with large volumes of unstructured information and extract signal quickly
- Comfort with ambiguity — many projects you'll evaluate will have limited public information
- High attention to detail; you'll catch things others miss in whitepapers, vesting schedules, token allocation, and team backgrounds
- Self-directed work style; this role operates with minimal hand-holding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mandatory language skills: fluent Ukrainian and English at B2+ level or higher
- Strong interest in AI tools and automation: LLMs, AI agents, data enrichment, workflow automation
- Ability to design workflows that reduce manual research and increase analytical throughput
Responsibilities
- Evaluate deal flow: produce project analysis and investment memos for the investment committee
- Build and maintain scoring models for project evaluation: team, tokenomics, traction, competitive positioning, valuation, risks
- Conduct deep-dive due diligence across key dimensions: technology, market, team, tokenomics, legal structure, financials, on-chain metrics, and competitive landscape
- Produce market research reports: TAM/SAM/SOM, competitor matrices, regulatory landscape by jurisdiction
- Track sector trends across DeFi, L1/L2 infrastructure, RWA, and crypto-native fintech
- Monitor and analyze market trends, news, narratives, and events impacting the crypto market and investment opportunities
- Source deals and contacts of interest through ecosystem mapping and network intelligence
- Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows for project analysis and due diligence
- Automate data collection, screening, and initial evaluation of projects
- Use AI tools to enhance research speed and decision-making quality
Would be a plus
- Active presence on Crypto Twitter/X and awareness of current market narratives
Experience with on-chain analytics tools, crypto data platforms, dashboards, or APIs
