About us
Cikumas GmbH, based in Kilchberg (Canton of Zurich, Switzerland), builds ClassOwl โ€” an all-in-one school-management platform that replaces the patchwork of disconnected tools most schools run on today. Instead of re-entering the same student data into five or six separate systems (admissions, gradebook, invoicing, timetabling, government reporting), ClassOwl combines a Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) into one white-label platform, tailored to each school's own processes and branded as their own.

Who We're Looking For

We are hiring a Technical Account Manager. You will own the relationship for a portfolio of schools end to end: understanding what each school actually needs (often beyond what they initially ask for), translating that into clear requirements for the development team, following the work through to delivery, and confirming with the school that it solves their problem. Your work directly determines how deeply a school adopts ClassOwl and, ultimately, whether they're able to retire their old patchwork of tools for good.

Responsibilities

  • serve as the main point of contact between your assigned schools and the development team, working directly with school leadership, administrators and staff
  • conduct business analysis: write user stories, requirements, mock-ups and wireframes based on school input
  • use ClassOwl's full module set (SIS, LMS, ERP) to identify where a school could get more value
  • manage school relationships with a focus on retention and deepening ClassOwl adoption (the long-term goal is for schools to retire competing systems in favor of ClassOwl)
  • prioritize requests across multiple schools independently
  • run regular check-ins with schools to track satisfaction and surface new needs
  • confirm client acceptance once a request is deployed

    What we expect
  • strong communication skills and genuine motivation
  • fluent English
  • experience in the education sector is a bonus
  • German at B2 or higher is a strong bonus
  • business analysis experience is a plus

    Benefits
  • regular trips to Switzerland (approximately twice per semester) to meet schools in person
  • we offer two cooperation formats to choose from ะคะžะŸ (standard) and ะคะžะŸ+ (an extended package with paid vacation, bonuses, and additional compensations); details of each format are discussed during the interview
  • flexible schedule and a fully remote team โ€” work from wherever suits you, as long as you can meet with schools during their working hours
  • budget for learning and professional development
