Trainee Test Engineer (Automotive)

It is one of the largest Tier 1 semiconductor and microcontroller vendors for automotive, industrial, home electronics, and other industries worldwide. The Company is cooperating with the world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

The team at GlobalLogic is providing a full-cycle R&D service to the customer. The main responsibility is the bring-up of the latest versions of the Android OS on customer-specific hardware, including system requirements analysis, new feature development, bug fixing, system integration, validation, and customer support.

Job Description

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Basic understanding of software testing
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Basic understanding of embedded systems
• Basic programming knowledge in C/C++ or Python
• Understanding of SDLC
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Motivated and willing to learn

• Intermediate spoken and written English

   

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of embedded software
• Create and execute test cases
• Analyze test results and report defects
• Reproduce and investigate issues
• Analyze logs and basic diagnostic information
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Support system and integration testing
• Work closely with developers and QA engineers
• Maintain testing documentation
