About the Customer
Our customer is a global mobility and urban services platform providing ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task-assistance services.
About the Project
You will join a product delivery team responsible for the end-to-end customer experience within a ride-hailing application — from user onboarding and order creation to the in-ride experience and post-ride interactions.
The team develops customer-facing ride-hailing features as well as an integration layer connecting downstream services.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain test cases and test suites for product features
- Participate in Agile activities, including discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning, and demos
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and mobile UI on iOS and Android
- Implement shift-left testing practices
- Build and maintain test frameworks and QA tools and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure the reliability of testing infrastructure
- Collaborate with TechOps and other teams to improve quality management and testing processes
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with backend and mobile developers to prevent regressions
- Track quality metrics in Jira and Tableau, automate routine tasks, and promote testability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in functional testing
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation
- 1+ year of experience in mobile application testing and automation
- Recent hands-on experience with both functional and automated testing
- Strong experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Experience with database operations, including CRUD
- Basic command-line knowledge, including Bash and Zsh
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android, including emulators, traffic sniffing, and OS-specific testing
- Proficiency in Kotlin
- Solid understanding of mobile platforms, client-server architecture, and network protocols
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Git and test management practices
- Ability to read and analyse backend and frontend code to identify defects accurately
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude for coding, testing, and code review
- Intermediate English
Nice to Have
- Experience with contract testing using Pact
- Experience with visual regression testing for mobile applications
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based device farms such as BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab
- Experience with GraphQL and gRPC contract testing
