AI-Augmented QA Engineer

We are looking for an AI-Augmented QA Engineer to join our team for a long-term project.

Project

A SaaS-based, data-driven eCommerce platform built on AI-powered, fully cloud-native technology for the North American market.

Main QA Skills

• Strong knowledge of software testing principles
• Test case design and exploratory testing
• Web application and API testing
• Regression, integration and end-to-end testing
• REST API testing: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
• SQL and database validation
• Jira або інша bug-tracking система
• Git
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI або Jenkins

AI Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar tools in daily QA activities.
• Ability to use AI to design comprehensive test scenarios, including functional, negative, boundary, and edge cases.
• Experience generating, reviewing, debugging, and refactoring automated tests with AI assistance.
• Ability to use AI tools to develop and maintain Playwright-based UI and API automation.
• Experience using AI to analyze application logs, stack traces, failed tests, and CI/CD pipeline results.
• Ability to transform requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and reported defects into structured test cases and automated tests.
• Experience using AI to generate realistic test data and identify missing test coverage.
• Ability to create clear and effective prompts and provide AI tools with appropriate technical context.

• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to validate AI-generated code and recommendations rather than relying on them without review.

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agents, Playwright MCP, or agent-based browser automation.
• Experience creating reusable AI workflows, prompts, or custom instructions for QA activities.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted exploratory testing and automated failure classification.
• Experience using AI to identify, investigate, and reduce flaky tests.
• Experience testing AI-powered or LLM-based product features, including evaluation of output quality, consistency, and failure scenarios.
