Oracle Data Integration / BI Developer (ODI / OAS)

Areon Consulting is looking for an experienced Oracle Data Integration / BI Developer to join our team on a long-term basis.

You will work with Oracle technologies focused on data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and analytics, supporting enterprise-level solutions and large data environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data platforms
• Develop and maintain data mappings, interfaces, packages and scenarios in ODI
• Work with Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL and complex data transformations
• Support and develop reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
• Develop and maintain analytical reports, dashboards and data models
• Investigate and resolve data integration and reporting issues
• Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for performance
• Work with large volumes of data and complex data structures
• Participate in data warehouse and BI solution development
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and other technical specialists
• Support existing enterprise solutions and implement new functionality

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Oracle technologies
• Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Oracle BI technologies
• Experience working with complex data flows and large datasets
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to understand and maintain existing enterprise solutions
• English — Intermediate+

Would be a plus

• Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse / DWH
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata
• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE / OAS)
• Experience with ODI 12c
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
• Experience with enterprise integrations and multiple data sources
• Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies
• Java or scripting knowledge
