Frontend Engineer UI Acceleration

🚀 Project:
The project is part of an integrated e.IoT Platform Initiative focused on infrastructure resilience, frontend acceleration, and edge device management.
The current IoT platform faces three main challenges:
- Azure IoT Hub requires automated device registry backups and a validated recovery process.
- Frontend development capacity is currently insufficient to implement incoming UI designs at the required pace.
- Remote edge devices require a secure, centrally managed enterprise-grade OTA deployment mechanism.
The initiative aims to establish automated IoT Hub disaster recovery, accelerate frontend delivery, and integrate Mender Enterprise for secure fleet-wide software updates.
Role:
As a Frontend Engineer, you will increase frontend delivery capacity by directly translating dlab Figma designs, design tokens, and UI components into reusable production-ready code.
You will work closely with the existing frontend and DevOps engineers in a paired delivery model while maintaining the platform’s architecture, quality, and coding standards.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Translate dlab Figma designs directly into modular and reusable frontend components.
- Implement and maintain design tokens and UI components.
- Develop frontend functionality using React and/or Angular.
- Work in a paired programming / collaborative delivery model with core developers.
- Maintain existing frontend architecture and coding standards.
- Integrate frontend components with backend IoT APIs.
- Integrate and visualize live telemetry data streams.
- Write and maintain component tests.
- Ensure visual consistency through visual regression testing.
- Document reusable UI and design-system components for future feature development.
🧩 Required Skills
- Strong professional experience with React and/or Angular.
- Experience translating Figma designs into production frontend code.
- Good understanding of design systems, design tokens, and reusable component architecture.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST/backend APIs.
- Strong knowledge of frontend testing and component testing.
- Understanding of visual regression testing and frontend quality assurance.
Strong Advantage
- Experience with IoT platforms or telemetry-driven applications.
- Experience working with real-time data streams.
- Previous experience in enterprise-scale frontend platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps-oriented development environments.
