About the project
We are building an end-to-end AI agent workflow connecting Atlassian Rovo with GitLab Duo.
The goal is to create a working prototype that connects agile planning with software development through AI-powered automation, with a clearly defined Jira-to-GitLab integration point and a concept for scaling the solution further.
Atlassian Rovo will support the planning stage by collecting and documenting requirements, using knowledge from Confluence and Jira, creating high-quality User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, and preparing them for automated downstream processing.
Once a User Story is ready, the workflow will be handed over to GitLab Duo, where AI will support the next steps of the software development process.
Your role
- Support the design and implementation of Atlassian Rovo-based workflows.
- Work hands-on with Jira and Confluence Cloud to structure and manage project knowledge.
- Support the configuration and optimization of Rovo to enable requirements gathering and agile planning.
- Help define how Rovo uses information and knowledge from Jira and Confluence.
- Support the creation of high-quality User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Configure and optimize Jira workflows and automation.
- Define and optimize the handoff from Jira/Rovo to GitLab.
- Collaborate with technical teams working on the GitLab Duo side of the workflow.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing agile processes.
- Contribute to the development of a scalable concept for AI-driven project workflows.
What we’re looking for
- Experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Jira Consultant, Atlassian Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence Cloud.
- Good understanding of Atlassian Cloud products and their configuration.
- Experience with Jira workflows, Automation, issue types, permissions, schemes, and project configuration.
- Good understanding of Agile processes and requirements management.
- Good understanding of Generative AI, AI agents, and AI-powered automation.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical Atlassian solutions.
- Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English - B2.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Rovo / Rovo Agents.
- Experience with AI agents or GenAI projects.
- Experience integrating Atlassian products with external platforms.
- Experience with GitLab or DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and automation.
