Technical Recruiter – Software Engineering

Location: Ukraine — 100% Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time / Remote
Compensation: $1,000 USD per month

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Technical Recruiter based in Ukraine to join our team and help us identify, engage, and recruit talented software engineers across Ukraine.

The primary focus of this position is proactive sourcing. You will be responsible for finding strong technical candidates, conducting initial screenings, managing the candidate pipeline, and coordinating interviews with our team.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit software engineers throughout Ukraine.
• Proactively identify candidates through LinkedIn, Djinni, DOU, GitHub, job boards, professional communities, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidates' experience, technical background, communication skills, availability, and expectations.
• Recruit Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, DevOps/Cloud, QA, Data, and AI/ML Engineers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates.
• Write and publish job postings for the Ukrainian technology market.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting status.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Build long-term relationships with software engineers and develop a reusable talent network.

• Provide regular updates on sourcing activity, interviews, candidate quality, and hiring progress.

   

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Recruiter, Technical Recruiter, or Technical Sourcer.
• Experience sourcing and recruiting software engineers.
• Good understanding of the Ukrainian IT talent market.
• Strong LinkedIn and direct-sourcing skills.
• Basic understanding of software engineering roles and technologies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple open positions.
• Ukrainian language proficiency.
• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of software engineers in Ukraine.
• Experience recruiting Senior and Lead-level engineers.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, .NET, Go, Rust, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, Data Engineering, and AI/ML.
• Experience working with international or U.S.-based teams.
• Experience with Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, Djinni, and DOU.
