Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

What You’ll Do

• Build a new frontend from the ground up using modern tooling — fast, broadly compatible, and UX-focused — and integrate it seamlessly into our existing e-commerce platform.
• Participate in frontend development from discovery through launch, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders and teams to build a common understanding of solutions that address business and customer needs.
• Take ownership of your work and act as a co-owner of the project. Take initiative and responsibility, share your thoughts, concerns, feedback, and advice to help us build better solutions.
• Stay curious and keep up with trends in design, technology, and user experience. Share what you know and make an impact.
   

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development — although if you have less, prove us wrong :-)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ECMAScript 5–7) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, including Hooks, Context API, core principles, and ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, including semantics, DOM, adaptive and responsive development.
• Strong knowledge of CSS3/SASS, CSS Modules, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack.
• Experience with Git and unit testing with Jest.
• Experience optimizing and developing fast-loading websites, including content caching and pre-loading asset optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong spoken and written English — you should be comfortable gathering project requirements, participating in workshops, and clearly explaining your design and architecture decisions.
