Frontend Developer — Next.js / React

On behalf of our Client from Spain, Mobilunity is looking for Frontend Engineer.
 

You will join a product team building a modern SaaS platform for the restaurant industry, helping restaurants manage their bookings, customer relationships, and daily operations.

The role is focused on building scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using modern React and Next.js technologies. You’ll work closely with Product and Design teams and have ownership of features from implementation through production.
 

What we’re looking for:

We need a strong frontend engineer who is comfortable working with modern React architecture, TypeScript, and AI-assisted development tools.
 

The ideal candidate:

• has strong commercial experience with React and Next.js;
• understands modern frontend architecture and server-side rendering;
• writes clean, maintainable and strongly typed TypeScript;
• has experience with state management and modern CSS approaches;
• actively uses AI coding agents in their daily workflow;
• is able to review, validate and improve AI-generated code;
• cares about product quality, performance and user experience.
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong experience with Next.js (App Router) and React 19.
• Experience with Server Components, Client Components and server-side rendering patterns.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript 5.9+ and strict mode.
• Experience with advanced TypeScript concepts, including generics and discriminated unions.
• Hands-on experience with Zustand for global state management.
• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS 4, CSS variables, design tokens, themes and custom utilities.
• Experience with Jest for unit and component integration testing.
• Experience with Docker for development and deployment environments.
• Good understanding of Git workflows, pull requests and code reviews.
• Regular use of AI coding agents, particularly Claude Code.
• Ability to review and validate AI-generated code, tests and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
