Full-Stack Engineer
About the Role
We’re a lean product team developing a consumer commerce platform that combines real-time 3D interactions with the purchase of physical products. The product also includes a real-money wallet and operational workflows for order processing and fulfillment.
Our technology stack is built entirely around TypeScript. The engineering team is small and experienced, with engineers working closely with and reporting directly to the CTO, allowing for fast communication and decision-making.
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to work across a customer-facing web application, internal operational tools, and the Node.js services supporting both.
The scope is varied: you might build a new feature for the customer-facing React application together with the required API and data model, then move on to an internal workflow that improves operational efficiency or a background process handling inventory-related data.
The engineering team has a thorough code-review culture, with senior engineers actively reviewing pull requests and maintaining a strong focus on testing, code quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Develop end-to-end product functionality using React 19, Vite, TanStack Query, CSS Modules, Node.js/Fastify, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ.
- Build and improve internal operational tools covering areas such as catalog management, orders, fulfillment, and financial workflows.
- Create and maintain shared API contracts using Zod schemas to keep frontend, backend, and worker services aligned.
- Write automated tests alongside development using Vitest for unit/component testing and Playwright for important end-to-end scenarios.
- Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and post-incident analysis.
- Take ownership of the features you build through deployment and production operation.
What We're Looking For
- Around 3–5 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience with TypeScript is preferred, although engineers coming from .NET or Java with solid frontend experience are also welcome.
- Good knowledge of modern React, including hooks, rendering behavior, state/data-fetching patterns, and component lifecycle.
- Practical experience developing server-side APIs and working with relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to design database tables, write efficient queries, and understand indexing fundamentals.
- A quality-focused approach to development, including testing your own work rather than treating testing as a separate final step.
- Clear and pragmatic communication and the ability to collaborate effectively through code reviews and technical discussions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with message queues or brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Redis or similar caching technologies.
- Experience with Drizzle or another strongly typed ORM.
- Hands-on Playwright experience, including more complex scenarios beyond basic happy-path testing.
- Interest in 3D, animation, or visually creative frontend development.
