UI/UX and Digital Designer – Freelance
We are looking for a creative and technically minded UI/UX & Digital Designer to join our team full-time and take ownership of the visual design of an innovative digital product.
Your main focus will be the UI/UX design of a mobile app, working closely with our developers from concept through implementation. We already have an existing design direction and extensive mockups. Your role will be to take over this work, develop it further, and ensure a consistent and high-quality design across the entire product.
We work actively with AI-assisted design tools, especially Claude Design. We are therefore looking for someone who is excited about modern AI workflows and can use them professionally rather than relying exclusively on traditional design processes.
Your responsibilities
- Take ownership of the UI/UX design of our mobile app
- Continue and improve an existing app design and design system
- Create new screens, user flows, components, states, and interactions
- Work with Claude Design to create and iterate designs efficiently
- Prepare clear design releases for our development team
- Work closely with developers during implementation
- Review implemented screens and ensure visual consistency and quality
- Maintain an overview of the complete product design
- Think beyond individual screens and understand the overall user experience
In addition to the app, we would like you to support us with other design tasks, including:
- Social media content and campaign visuals
- Advertising creatives and digital marketing assets
- Landing pages and websites
- Interactive and immersive web experiences
- Scrollytelling websites and modern web animations
- Other digital design tasks across our projects
Where appropriate, these assets should also be created efficiently with Claude Design and other AI tools.
What we are looking for
You should have strong experience in UI/UX and app design and a good understanding of how designs are translated into real products.
Experience with some of the following is especially valuable:
- Mobile app UI/UX
- Responsive design
- Design systems and reusable components
- Claude Design or similar AI design/coding tools
- AI-assisted creative workflows
- Working directly with developers
- Interactive websites
- Scrollytelling
- Immersive web experiences
- Motion and interaction design
- Social media and advertising design
Experience with Figma is welcome, but we are not looking for someone who is tied to one specific design tool. We care much more about your ability to create excellent digital experiences and work efficiently with modern tools and AI.
If you have already designed immersive, interactive or scrollytelling websites, please include examples in your portfolio.
