Mobile App Developer - React Native(Expo, NativeWind)

Now, we’re expanding to mobile. We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer who can help us bring our AI music tools to millions of users on iOS and Android through a seamless, beautifully designed experience.

Role Overview

We’re searching for a React Native developer experienced with Expo and NativeWind to take a key role in developing our cross-platform mobile app. You’ll work closely with our product and design teams to translate ideas into polished, performant, and scalable mobile experiences.

You’ll have a strong voice in architecture, UX implementation, and integration with our AI-powered backend - building a music creation app that feels intuitive, fast, and alive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy mobile features using React Native, Expo, and NativeWind.
• Collaborate with backend and design teams to integrate APIs, audio tools, and AI-driven features.
• Ensure high performance, smooth animations, and responsive UI across iOS and Android.
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented codebases.
• Debug, profile, and optimize performance for real-world usage with tools like Sentry.
• Contribute to UX and feature decisions - your input matters.
• Stay up to date with the latest in mobile and React Native ecosystems.
   

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building mobile apps with React Native.
• Strong understanding of Expo workflows and NativeWind (Tailwind for React Native).
• Proven experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.).
• Experience integrating APIs and managing app state (e.g., Zustand).
• Strong sense of design implementation and pixel-perfect attention to UI details.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment - proactive, communicative, and hands-on.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with audio playback/recording.
• Familiarity with advanced animations (Reanimated or Moti).
• Understanding of CI/CD for mobile (EAS, Fastlane, or similar).
