Project Description

The project develops a leading software solution for the Energy domain, covering all stages of Oil & Gas production—from geological exploration to the optimization of ongoing production.

The product helps geologists and geophysicists research, visualize, and interpret large volumes of geological data.

This is a stable, long-term project that continuously adopts modern technologies, including Java 11, cloud solutions, and GPU computing. The role involves close collaboration with the customer’s team in Houston and working according to Agile principles.

You will join a senior, supportive, and friendly team, where you will have the opportunity to learn the project’s technologies, explore the existing codebase, and gradually begin working on project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn the technologies used on the project;
• Explore and become familiar with the existing codebase;
• Start working on project tasks.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java Core;
• Knowledge of algorithms, including sorting and optimization;
• English proficiency at the Intermediate level or higher.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in desktop application development using Java;
• A link to a Git repository with examples of the candidate’s work would be helpful.

Languages

• English: B2 Upper Intermediate.
