Senior Odoo Developer
JITO is looking for a Senior Odoo Developer to join our team and take ownership of the development and customization of Odoo-based solutions.
We are looking for an experienced engineer who can independently handle complex technical tasks, design scalable solutions, and contribute to the overall architecture of our Odoo ecosystem.
What you’ll do
* Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules.
* Take ownership of complex Odoo development tasks from requirements to implementation.
* Customize and extend standard Odoo functionality.
* Design and implement integrations with external systems and APIs.
* Work with Odoo ORM and PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
* Analyze and improve existing solutions and system performance.
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues and bugs.
* Participate in architecture and technical decision-making.
* Conduct code reviews and maintain high development standards.
* Mentor less experienced developers and support their technical growth.
* Collaborate with Product, Business, and other technical teams.
Requirements
* 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
* 3+ years of hands-on Odoo development experience.
* Strong Python skills.
* Deep understanding of Odoo architecture and ORM.
* Strong experience developing custom Odoo modules.
* Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization.
* Experience designing and implementing REST API integrations.
* Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Experience with Odoo frontend technologies, preferably OWL.
* Strong Git skills and experience with standard development workflows.
* Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
* Ability to independently analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
* English level B2 or higher.
Would be a plus
* Experience with recent Odoo versions, including Odoo 17/18/19.
* Experience migrating Odoo between major versions.
* Experience building Odoo modules from scratch.
* Docker and Linux experience.
* CI/CD experience.
* Experience with cloud infrastructure.
* Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers.
* Experience working with ERP, CRM, HR, finance, or other business management systems.
