Contract and Compliance Advisor

Softoria is a Ukrainian product IT company that has been developing solutions in Big Data, cybersecurity, mobile applications, and SaaS since 2014, serving clients in more than 120 countries. We are currently looking for a part-time lawyer to provide ongoing legal support.

What we expect:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT, Commercial, or Technology Lawyer.
• English at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
• Good knowledge of commercial contracts, privacy, IP, and compliance.
• A business-oriented approach and the ability to balance client needs with our risks.
• Willingness to use AI in legal work while checking the results and making independent legal decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and edit IT and commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, SOWs, and others.
• Help prepare and update privacy policies, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Advise the team on day-to-day legal questions, including privacy, content, usage policies, and third-party materials.
• Assess legal and business risks and suggest practical solutions.
• Communicate directly with clients on legal matters, explain our position, and find a balance between client needs and our risks.
