Product Owner / Growth Product Owner
We're looking for a strong Product Owner / Product Manager who will take full ownership of the product, from product vision and roadmap to individual features, the backlog, and day-to-day work with the team.
The role's core focus is Activation and Retention: from onboarding and first value to regular usage and user return.
About the role
This is a hands-on product role on an AI-native team, where you own both the foundational PO responsibilities: product vision, roadmap, backlog, delivery, team leadership; and the growth side: funnel, experiments, and retention. You'll work at the intersection of Product, Data, Design, Engineering, and Marketing, turning business goals, user behavior data, and market insights into concrete product decisions.
Your area of ownership is the whole product: from the product backlog and roadmap to the post-acquisition user journey (Signup โ Onboarding โ Activation โ Engagement โ Retention).
We need someone who can both build a clear process around the product (backlog, specs, releases, team) and go beyond spotting a problem in the metrics: someone who digs into root causes, forms a hypothesis, tests it quickly, and ships the winning solution.
What you'll do
Product Ownership & team leadership
- Own the product vision and roadmap together with the founders, translating business goals into product strategy.
- Define, document, and prioritize features: write specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that Design and Engineering can execute without unnecessary back-and-forth.
- Maintain and structure the product backlog: apply prioritization frameworks (RICE, ICE, Value vs Effort), plan sprints and releases.
- Be the single point of contact between product/business stakeholders and the Engineering and Design team.
- Run key product ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, review) and keep the team's rhythm and transparency.
- Communicate the roadmap and status of features/releases to stakeholders, keeping the team focused on priorities.
- Own delivery quality: post-launch checks, feedback collection, and further iteration.
Growth: Activation, Engagement, Retention
- Analyze the user journey from signup to activation, identify friction points, and optimize onboarding, product flows, and Time-to-Value.
- Formulate and prioritize product hypotheses to increase activation, engagement, and retention, based on data, user feedback, research, and market insights.
- Shape the product itself: launch new features and product experiences, working with Design and Engineering from problem definition through post-launch analysis.
- Analyze retention, churn, cohorts, and behavioral data, uncover root causes of early churn, and develop lifecycle and re-engagement mechanics.
- Design and test trigger-based email sequences and in-app communications for activation and retention.
- Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and product experiments, define success metrics, and make decisions based on results.
- Improve product experience and customer journey, and share product insights with the Marketing team to improve messaging and acquisition quality.
- Continuously work the loop: Data โ Insight โ Hypothesis โ Experiment โ Learn โ Iterate.
What we expect from you
Product Ownership
- Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager who has run a product full-cycle: from discovery and specification to delivery and post-launch.
- Confident with backlog/task tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, ClickUp or similar) and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Able to write clear specs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Comfortable with prioritization frameworks (RICE, ICE, Value vs Effort, etc.) and able to justify backlog priorities.
- Proven ability to work in a startup environment with quick cycles.
- Strong communication skills: able to align stakeholders and keep the team focused on goals.
Growth
- Experience in Growth Product Management / Product Management / Product Growth in a B2C or self-serve SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with activation, onboarding, engagement and retention in similar products.
- Comfortable with product analytics: Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog, GA4 or similar.
- Able to independently find root causes in user behavior, form product hypotheses and turn them into concrete product changes.
- Experience launching and analyzing product experiments.
- Understands B2C user psychology and the specifics of self-serve products.
General
- Comfortable working at the intersection of Product, Design, Engineering, Data and Marketing.
- High sense of ownership, strong critical thinking, and comfortable making decisions under uncertainty.
- Ready not just to execute tasks, but to shape the product and be accountable for its results.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI products / AI-native SaaS.
- Experience in Crypto / FinTech.
- Understanding of user psychology in products dealing with financial data, money, privacy and trust.
- Experience building lifecycle / re-engagement mechanics.
- Experience in small, high-velocity product teams, where the PO combines product delivery and the growth loop (full-stack PM).
How we work
We're an AI-native product team.
For us, AI isn't a separate skill on a resume โ it's part of the daily product workflow. We use modern AI tools for research, data analysis, synthesizing user insights, generating and validating hypotheses, prototyping, UX exploration and experimentation.
We value speed, autonomy and the ability to move quickly from problem to solution. If there's a strong hypothesis, we test it โ we don't spend months on approvals.
This is for you if you're looking for
- Real impact on the product. You'll influence not just metrics and the funnel, but what the product itself becomes โ from the roadmap to individual features.
- An AI-native environment. AI is part of the daily workflow, not just a line in the job posting.
- High speed and autonomy. Minimal bureaucracy, a short cycle from idea to experiment.
- The chance to build. We expect you not just to optimize what exists, but to build a clear product process, new hypotheses, product experiences and features.
- Cross-functional work. You'll work directly with Product, Design, Engineering, Data and Marketing.
- Ownership of results. What matters here isn't how many tasks you closed, but the impact they had on the product.
