Junior Python Developer

About the Project

We are a product-driven company building a live commercial product with real users.

The project is in an active growth phase, with new features being developed and existing functionality continuously improved.

We are looking for a Junior Python Developer who has a solid foundation in Python, is eager to grow professionally, and is ready to work on real production tasks with the support of experienced developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionality using Python
• Assist in building and integrating REST APIs
• Work with existing codebases and implement new features
• Fix bugs and improve existing functionality
• Work with relational databases
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Collaborate with developers and the product team
• Learn and apply development best practices

Requirements

Must-have:

• 2+ year of commercial development experience with Python
• Good knowledge of Python fundamentals
• Experience with at least one backend framework: Django / FastAPI / Flask
• Basic experience with REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Understanding of OOP and basic software development principles
• Experience with Git
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Ability to read and understand existing code
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• English sufficient for communication and technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Basic frontend knowledge (React / Nuxt)
• Experience with async Python, Celery or asyncio
• Familiarity with Linux
• Basic understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure
• Pet projects or contributions to real-world projects
