Senior React Native Engineer
We are looking for a Mobile developer who will build the product's mobile app from scratch and own it completely - architecture, release pipeline, store presence, and ongoing iteration. for at least the first year, this person will be the only mobile developer at the team.
About the project: A ticket search engine for live events that lets users compare offers from multiple sellers in a single platform. The product currently has no mobile app, this will be its first.
Qualifications:
โ Proven experience shipping at least one React Native application from inception to deployment on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with demonstrable setup and deployment processes (store links required).
โ Minimum of 3 years of mobile development experience, including at least 2 years of practical experience working with React Native in a production environment.
โ Strong proficiency in TypeScript and a solid understanding of React fundamentals.
โ Experience managing the entire release cycle, including app store submissions and handling rejection issues.
โ Ability to work independently within a remote, asynchronous team environment, ideally as the sole owner of the mobile development stack.
โ Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to have:
โ Background in e-commerce / marketplace / travel products with high-intent transactional UX.
โ Experience with Next.js monorepos and sharing logic (not UI) across web and mobile.
โ Experience with attribution/analytics stacks: Firebase, AppsFlyer, Branch.
What you'll be doing:
โ Building a React Native app for iOS and Android from scratch.
โ Consuming the product's existing APIs, and pushing back on / helping shape mobile-facing endpoints where needed.
โ Setting up all the infrastructure from scratch: repo structure, CI/CD, build pipeline (EAS or similar), crash reporting, analytics, deep linking, push notifications.
โ Taking the app through App Store and Google Play review to launch, then owning the ongoing release cadence.
โ Building core flows: event discovery, price comparison across sellers, checkout handoff.
