Strong Junior Full-Stack Engineer (AI and Browser automations) – Integrations

About the Product & Team

Our client is an innovative tech startup building an AI-powered platform for autonomous browser and web workflow automation. The platform executes complex end-to-end automation scenarios and integrates directly into enterprise business systems across the US and Europe.

You will join an agile engineering team to implement ERP-style integrations. The codebase already contains multiple production-ready integration templates, clear architectural references, and reusable modules to guide your implementation.

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Strong Junior Full-Stack Engineer with a solid backend foundation (Node.js) for an integration project.

This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who knows how to read existing code, replicate proven patterns, and deliver clean integrations with minimal friction. Because well-established integration references already exist in the repository, you won’t have to reinvent the architecture — your primary focus will be studying reference examples, adapting them to new third-party APIs, and verifying that data flows accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Connectors & Integrations: Build API connectors linking external business/ERP platforms to our system using existing codebase patterns.
• Backend Data Handling (Core Focus): Write clean, structured Node.js code to handle API requests, process webhooks, normalize payloads, and handle edge-case errors.
• Basic Frontend Adjustments: Implement or update straightforward React components for integration settings and configuration pages.
• Codebase Exploration: Study existing integration modules in the repository and follow established coding conventions.
• Self-Verification & Testing: Validate data mapping, test edge cases using tools like Postman, and ensure integrations work reliably before submission.

Requirements

• Node.js Fundamentals: Solid hands-on experience building backend logic with Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript (commercial experience or strong portfolio projects).
• Daily use of modern AI coding assistants (Claude Code) to navigate repositories and speed up delivery.
• Basic React Skills: Ability to build and update basic UI components and handle form state in React.
• API & Data Knowledge: Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP status codes, JSON payload manipulation, and basic authentication methods (API Keys, Bearer tokens).
• Code Navigation: Ability to read and understand existing codebases, identify reusable patterns, and apply them to new features.
• Ownership & Diligence: High personal responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting.
• Communication: B2 English (clear written communication for tickets/documentation and comfortable participating in team syncs).

Nice to Have

• Practical experience testing APIs with Postman, Insomnia, or curl.
• Previous experience connecting to any third-party APIs (CRMs, payment gateways, e-commerce, or ERP systems).
