About the company

Blue Carrot is a full-service agency established in 2014, specializing in educational content creation and commercial video production. Since the very beginning, we've set ourselves in the global marketplace by creating content for esteemed clients like the United Nations, DNB, Takeda, University of Southern California, CharitΓ© Medical University, and others. With a diverse portfolio spanning over 300 clients globally, we handle projects of all sizes, from short 60-second explainers to extensive educational courses consisting of over 200 e-learning hours across four languages.

The problem

Sometimes a client disagrees that a course is well written: they say the text is illogical, poorly structured, or poorly described β€” without specifics. We need someone who can objectively, with evidence (not just "I think so"), show the logical structure of the text β€” and demonstrate to the client why the course is logical and well-built, or exactly where the gaps are.

Responsibilities

  • Reconstruct the argumentative structure of a text: claims, premises, evidence, objections, and the inference relations between them
  • Visualize this structure as an argument map/graph with multiple levels of detail β€” from a high-level overview down to specific, granular points
  • Prepare the output so it can objectively demonstrate to the client the logic and structure of the text (or specific gaps)

This is manual analytical work, not automated structure extraction β€” no background in computational linguistics or argument mining is needed.

Requirements (must-have)

  • Strong English, spoken and written (texts and clients are almost always English-speaking)
  • Ability to visually represent argumentative structure, not just provide a written conclusion
  • Strong analytical thinking β€” able to back up a conclusion with facts, not just an opinion

Nice to have

  • Understanding of instructional design / how training courses are built
  • Experience with argument-mapping tools (e.g., Argdown or similar)
  • Background in logic, debate, critical thinking, argumentation theory, or developmental/substantive editing
