Remote | Full-time | $2,000–3,000/month

We are looking for a Middle / Strong Middle Full-Stack Developer to join a newly forming technical team responsible for maintaining and developing existing CRM and web-based trading platform products.

The systems are already in production and used across multiple environments.

At the current stage, the majority of development work involves investigating and fixing existing issues, with additional product improvements and new functionality being introduced continuously.

This is not a role where every task comes with detailed technical implementation instructions.

We are looking for a developer who can gradually take ownership of issues and independently move from problem reproduction to root-cause analysis and implementation.

Previous experience in FinTech, Forex, CFD, or trading is not required. Product and business logic will be explained during onboarding.

What you will work with

The product environment includes:

  • Web-based CRM
  • Web-based CFD/trading platform
  • Existing production codebase
  • JavaScript-based web applications
  • REST APIs
  • WebSockets and real-time functionality
  • Third-party integrations
  • Multiple production environments
  • GitHub-based development workflow

The existing codebase is complex and contains legacy functionality, so the ability to understand and debug unfamiliar code is important.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and fix bugs in existing CRM and trading platform functionality
  • Reproduce reported issues using provided scenarios and production/test data
  • Analyze application behavior and determine the actual root cause of problems
  • Work with frontend and backend code
  • Debug REST API and WebSocket-related issues
  • Work with real-time application functionality
  • Implement improvements and new functionality
  • Work with third-party API integrations
  • Read and analyze application and server logs when required for debugging
  • Test your own changes before handing them over to QA
  • Work closely with QA and DevOps
  • Maintain existing functionality while implementing fixes to avoid regressions
  • Work with Git/GitHub as part of the development process
  • Document important technical implementations and changes when necessary
  • Gradually develop a strong understanding of the system architecture and product logic

Expected workflow

For most technical issues, we expect the developer to gradually become capable of owning the complete development cycle:

Issue β†’ Reproduce β†’ Investigate β†’ Identify root cause β†’ Implement fix β†’ Self-test β†’ QA verification β†’ Release

During onboarding, assistance will be provided with the existing codebase, product architecture, and trading-specific logic.

After onboarding, we expect increasing technical independence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial Full-Stack development experience
  • Strong JavaScript/web development fundamentals
  • Commercial frontend and backend development experience
  • Experience working with existing production applications
  • Experience debugging complex application issues
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with WebSockets or other real-time functionality
  • Experience with third-party API integrations
  • Understanding of client-server architecture
  • Ability to analyze application logs and technical errors
  • Git/GitHub experience
  • Ability to understand and work with an unfamiliar/legacy codebase
  • Ability to identify root causes instead of applying temporary surface-level fixes
  • Ability to test your own changes before passing them to QA
  • English β€” Intermediate or higher

Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript frontend frameworks is highly relevant to our environment.

Exact product architecture and existing implementation will be introduced during technical onboarding.

Trading experience

Previous Forex, CFD, brokerage, or FinTech experience is not required.

We will explain the required business logic, including concepts related to:

  • Trading accounts
  • Orders and positions
  • Prices
  • P&L
  • Margin
  • Leverage
  • Trading symbols
  • CRM workflows

We care more about your ability to understand complex systems and learn new domain logic than previous trading experience.

What we expect during the first months

The first 1–3 months will include technical and product onboarding.

The existing product is complex, and we do not expect a new developer to understand the entire system immediately.

After approximately three months, we expect you to:

  • Understand the core architecture and product functionality
  • Navigate the existing codebase confidently
  • Reproduce and investigate issues independently
  • Understand dependencies between CRM, trading platform, APIs, and real-time functionality
  • Require significantly less guidance for standard bugs
  • Take ownership of assigned technical issues
  • Communicate clearly with QA, DevOps, and the Project Manager

Deployment

Production infrastructure and deployment processes are primarily owned by DevOps.

Developers are expected to understand the release process and cooperate closely with DevOps during deployment and troubleshooting.

Working conditions

  • Fully remote
  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday
  • Working hours: 09:00–18:00 GMT+3 / 10:00–19:00 GMT+4
  • No regular night/weekend on-call requirement
  • Probation/onboarding period: 1–3 months
  • Compensation: $2,000–3,000/month, depending on technical level and experience
  • Long-term cooperation
  • English: Intermediate or higher

What is important to us

We value developers who:

  • Are available and responsive during agreed working hours
  • Communicate when they are blocked instead of disappearing
  • Notify the team in advance about planned absence
  • Take responsibility for their work
  • Investigate problems before asking for step-by-step instructions
  • Verify their own fixes
  • Consider the impact of a change on existing functionality
  • Communicate technical problems clearly
  • Are comfortable saying when they do not know something and then investigating it

We are building a new technical team around an existing production product, so reliability, ownership, communication, and the ability to become independent are as important as writing code.
