Lead Data Engineer

Lead Data Engineer 

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field

- Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data transformations

- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake

- Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data orchestration, and data warehousing/lakehouse solutions

- Experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis

- Proficiency in Python

- Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics-ready datasets

- Experience working with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions

- Experience with data quality, metadata, and scalable data pipelines

- Strong English communication skills

- Ability to work with US overlap

Nice to have:

- Data governance, lineage, or metadata management

- Experience with cross-domain data such as customer, product, or transaction data

- Financial services or other data-intensive industry experience

- Experience with data platform migration or evolution toward Databricks

- Dimensional modeling, data marts, and reusable datasets

- Airflow / Cloud Composer
