Network Engineer (offline)

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for datacenters and branch offices network management cycle – architecture, operation, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods, operate the monitoring platform to assist with daily activities
• Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures
• Diagnose technical field issues down to the root cause
• Provide recommendations for integration of new solutions, hardware and technologies
• Work and coordinate with vendors and 3rd party support for critical issues
• Maintain technical documents for solutions and standard operating procedures such that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner, ensure all documentation (including LAN/WAN drawings and equipment lists) accurate and current
• Provide networking domain expertise to other teams
• Maintain backup and redundancy strategies

Skills / Requirements:
• Professional level network certification(s) (CCNA , CCNP or higher)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Network and Security Engineer or similar
• Hands on experience with Fortinet, Brocade, HP (Aruba), Cisco, Mikrotik network equipment
• Good knowledge of InfoSec methodology and concepts
• Strong knowledge and experience with network management tools and performance metrics
• Expertise analyzing network traffic, providing capacity planning solutions, and monitoring and responding to hardware, software, and network problems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving skills required with the ability to make recommendations based on findings and best practices
• Strong cross-organizational collaboration and partnership skills, ability to drive efforts in autonomy and run-down issues to satisfactory resolution
• Leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
