Senior Data Engineer/ Azure and Databricks

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer (7+ years of experience) to join a project for a client in the energy industry.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and improve data pipelines within an Azure Data Platform
• Integrate new data sources into existing Data Lake and analytics environments
• Work with Azure Databricks and build scalable data solutions
• Develop and improve KPI and reporting solutions
• Consolidate and transform data from multiple sources
• Contribute to data modeling, data preparation, and optimization of existing data structures
• Support the development of new KPI dashboards
• Build and deploy solutions following CI/CD practices
• Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Business Stakeholders, and Product Owners

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong expertise in Databricks / Azure Databricks
• Experience building and operating Data Lakes
• Good understanding of CI/CD for data environments
• Experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong English communication skills
• Independent, pragmatic, and result-oriented approach

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS data services
• Background in KPI, reporting, or analytics projects
• Experience in the energy or utilities sector
