Middle Software Development Engineer
Akvelon is looking for Middle Software Development Engineers to join a long-term enterprise cloud project.
You will be part of a team responsible for developing and supporting cloud-native services running on Microsoft Azure. The role combines backend development with production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of business-critical services.
We are looking for engineers who are comfortable not only building new functionality, but also investigating production issues and working with distributed cloud systems.
Requirements:
β Strong core C# and .NET proficiency alongside Go development skills (or strong willingness to learn Go)
β Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications using Azure (Web APIs, Functions, WebJobs, Service Bus, Redis, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and VNets)
β Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based cloud-native stack (Docker/containers, K8s, Helm, registries, AKS, Key Vault)
β Solid foundation in Linux/Unix environments, firmware, diagnostics, compute hardware, and remote management tools (e.g., Dell iDRAC)
β Strong foundation in secure coding practices, application security, and a threat-aware engineering mindset
Nice to have:
β Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep), scripting, and automated CI/CD deployment pipeline
β Hands-on experience leveraging AI/ML to build diagnostic, troubleshooting, or support engineering solutions
β Foundation in core networking concepts and protocols (VNets, BGP/VRF, routing, NAT/gateways, ToR switch / SoC programming, IPv4/IPv6)
β Experience with host attestation, compute firewall management, or platform security (e.g., enterprise hardware security such as Dell PowerEdge attestation)
β Hands-on experience building or configuring anomaly detection, alerting systems, and automated incident triage
