About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive  eCommerce Project Manager to lead complex e-commerce projects on the Magento 2 platform. In this role, you will act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, taking full ownership of project delivery, timeline execution, and budget management.

Requirements & Must-Haves

• Senior-level IT Project Management experience: Proven track record in managing web development, maintenance, and support for e-commerce projects in an agency environment.

• Strong Magento 2 Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Magento 2 platform, including managing complex development workflows, integrations, and releases.

   

• Languages:
  • English: Minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) / C1 for daily client and team communication.

  • Polish: Minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) / C2 for effective work with Polish-speaking stakeholders/clients.

    
     

• Client & Scope Management: Experience gathering functional requirements, scoping tasks, gathering estimates, defining budgets, and managing client expectations proactively.
• QA / Quality Control: Solid understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and feature validation before production releases.
• Tooling: Proficiency in modern project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, Git/GitLab, AI tools).
• Self-Management: Strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize tasks, mitigate risks, and manage multidisciplinary teams (Developers, QA, DevOps, Designers).
   

Nice to Have (Bonus)

• Experience with other e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Sylius, Hyvä Theme).
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance daily PM workflows and productivity.
• Experience with test automation or QA management platforms (Testomat, TestMonitor, etc.).

• Technical background or hands-on experience in software development / QA.

  
   

Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Drive the execution of Magento 2 projects, overseeing timelines, deliverables, scope, and budgets.
• Client Advisory: Serve as the main point of contact for clients — providing daily updates, risk assessments, and strategic guidance on their e-commerce vision.
• Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional project teams (Backend & Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, UI/UX Designers).
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Collaborate with Delivery Directors and Resource Managers to maintain optimal team staffing and high quality standards.

• Documentation & Process: Maintain Jira boards, backlog prioritization, change requests, and technical project documentation.
