Middle .NET/Azure Software Engineer
Project details:
Engineering support and feature development for large-scale datacenter edge infrastructure and bare-metal server fleets. Primary responsibilities focus on designing, building, and maintaining core control plane services (including hardware inspection, firmware management, software-defined networking (SDN), and resource orchestration layers) to ensure high availability and seamless virtualization
Engineers will drive automation, optimize operational diagnostic tools, and deliver bug fixes to streamline fleet onboarding and improve incident mitigation times. Also includes end-to-end service health ownership, covering security monitoring and compliance
Must have:
Strong core C# and .NET proficiency alongside Go development skills (or strong willingness to learn Go)
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications using Azure (Web APIs, Functions, WebJobs, Service Bus, Redis, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and VNets)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based cloud-native stack (Docker/containers, K8s, Helm, registries, AKS, Key Vault)
Solid foundation in Linux/Unix environments, firmware, diagnostics, compute hardware, and remote management tools (e.g., Dell iDRAC)
Strong foundation in secure coding practices, application security, and a threat-aware engineering mindset
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep), scripting, and automated CI/CD deployment pipeline - while it's a nice to have skill, it's important for candidates to be ready to do DevOps work, there is no dedicated team for it.
Hands-on experience leveraging AI/ML to build diagnostic, troubleshooting, or support engineering solutions
Foundation in core networking concepts and protocols (VNets, BGP/VRF, routing, NAT/gateways, ToR switch / SoC programming, IPv4/IPv6)
Experience with host attestation, compute firewall management, or platform security (e.g., enterprise hardware security such as Dell PowerEdge attestation)
Hands-on experience building or configuring anomaly detection, alerting systems, and automated incident triage
Advanced knowledge of Azure Security posture, identity management, and compliance tools
