Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our technical team. This is a role for an experienced professional with experience in working with data analysis and data quality, BI dashboard reporting tools, ETL pipelines, and APIs.
Responsibilities
- Create and Maintain Looker Studio Dashboards
- Design, build, and maintain Looker Studio reports for several different needs. Requires adding new data sources, adjusting or creating filters and custom queries, and building new charts.

- Add new data sources
- Integrate new data sources according to the needs of each individual platform into our databases via DBT, existing tools (like PowerMyAnalytics or Fivetran) or directly via API, while assuring backfills of the data.

- Maintain Existing Data Sources
- Detect and fix any issues regarding existing data sources, from both manual and automated data inputs, as well as API changes that affect any of the data sources.
- Guarantee uptime on all existing and future extractions, to ensure the pipelines always running.
- Perform Data Quality Checks and Ensure Data Quality
- Develop ways to test the data quality and ensure the data we collect is valid and in accordance to agreed upon metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 1 year with a Master's degree.
- Experience working with large-scale, structured datasets from the online advertising domain or similar high-volume transactional domains.
- High proficiency with SQL and experience with cloud-based data warehouses (BigQuery preferred)
- Experience with data pipelines (preferably DBT)
- Knowledge about data quality and on best practices to implement data quality tests
- High proficiency with Python programming language and software engineering best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
