Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join a long-term project for a marketplace platform in KSA.

The project is a full-time engagement for 12+ months, with the expected start date in approximately one month.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications for a marketplace platform.
• Build backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React / Next.js.
• Work with MySQL and other data storage technologies.
• Integrate and work with Redis and ActiveMQ.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Solution Architect, QA Engineers, and UI/UX Designers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across both frontend and backend.
• Contribute to application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with React and/or Next.js.
• Good knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Understanding of Redis and message brokers such as ActiveMQ.
• Good understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend layers.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English — B1 or higher.

Would be a plus

• Experience developing marketplace, e-commerce, or other transactional platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Understanding of Modular Monolith Architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous communication.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with automated testing practices.
