QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term project for a large marketplace platform in KSA.

The project is a full-time engagement for 12+ months, with the expected start date in approximately one month.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web-based marketplace applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear reproduction steps.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with Full-Stack Developers, Tech Leads, Solution Architect, and UI/UX Designers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality of the product.
• Ensure that new features meet both functional and business requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in QA / Software Testing.
• Strong experience in manual web application testing.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create clear test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic API testing.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English — B1 or higher.

Would be a plus

• Experience testing marketplace, e-commerce, or other high-traffic web platforms.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot-based backends.
• Experience testing React / Next.js applications.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, or message brokers such as ActiveMQ.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and distributed systems.
• Experience with test automation or willingness to work with automation frameworks.
