The product that needs your engagement

The role is open as we grow the team building our new greenfield platform. We have invested in defining the architectural foundation upfront — including the layered structure, module boundaries, and core contracts — and are now moving into implementation. The first product built on this platform is an enterprise B2B offering at the intersection of AI and corporate data infrastructure. It enables organizations to securely connect modern AI agents and LLM-based assistants to their internal data sources — such as relational databases, data warehouses, and SaaS systems — while maintaining strict governance, access control, and auditability. A defining constraint is that data never leaves the customer’s perimeter: the product can be deployed fully on-premise within the customer’s infrastructure, which makes security, compliance, and admin experience first-class concerns alongside end-user value.

Your future team of professionals

You will join an ambitious and growing team that values collaboration, ownership, and thoughtful engineering. You will report directly to the Software Architect, and work alongside Frontend and QA Engineers on the team. Beyond your immediate team, you will interact closely with the Head of Engineering, and collaborate cross-functionally with a Product Manager, as well as with the Lead Engineering Manager of the team responsible for the engine and connectors that the platform builds on.

Your future challenges & opportunities
We are looking for someone strong in zero-to-one engineering who is comfortable working spec-first and ready to take ownership of key parts of the platform as it evolves from architecture into a working product.

Impact you will make 

• Build and maintain back-end modules and APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Implement functionality within clearly defined architectural boundaries while contributing to their evolution where needed.
• Design clean and reusable contracts between modules and components.
• Develop secure, reliable, and testable server-side components following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Work closely with frontend developers to design and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write automated tests and ensure production-ready quality of delivered functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design decisions.

Skills we are looking for 

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, dependency inversion / IoC, design patterns, and client-server architecture.
• Experience designing clear interfaces, contracts, and boundaries between application components.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL and ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core.
• Understanding of authentication and secure application development, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with automated testing using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit and mocking tools such as Moq.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
• Practical knowledge of Docker / Docker Compose and basic CI/CD practices.
• Experience profiling .NET applications, identifying bottlenecks, and improving application performance.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT, with an understanding of their limitations and appropriate use.
