Google Workspace Solutions Engineer

$$$$

Cloudfresh ⛅️ is a Global Google Cloud Premier Partner, Zendesk Premier Partner, Asana Solutions Partner, GitLab Select Partner, Hubspot Platinum Partner, Okta Activate Partner, and Microsoft Partner.

Since 2017, we’ve been specializing in the implementation, migration, integration, audit, administration, support, and training for top-tier cloud solutions. Our products focus on cutting-edge cloud computing, advanced location and mapping, seamless collaboration from anywhere, unparalleled customer service, and innovative DevSecOps.

We are looking for a Google Workspace Solutions Engineer to take full technical ownership of domain configurations, tenant architectures, user onboarding workflows, and complex migrations for our enterprise clients.

This is a client-facing, hands-on engineering role where precision is everything. You will lead end-to-end migration projects, enforce zero-trust security policies, and build seamless third-party SaaS integrations—ensuring smooth transitions with zero unexpected business downtime. While we look for solid technical fundamentals, you don't need to tick every single box on day one. If you bring strong engineering habits and a sharp troubleshooting mindset, we are fully prepared to train and upskill you on the specialized tools and workflows you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Migration & Implementation Ownership: Lead end-to-end Google Workspace deployments, domain cutovers, tenant architectures, and data migrations for SMB and enterprise clients across EMEA.
  • Ongoing Client Support & Advisory: Act as a reliable technical point of contact post-implementation—assisting clients with system maintenance, troubleshooting operational requests, and helping them maximize their Workspace environment.
  • Security & Compliance Hardening: Implement identity governance, security policies, data protection (DLP), and authentication frameworks (SSO, SAML) integrated with IdPs like Okta and Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Technical Architecture & DNS Control: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot complex mail routing, tenant structures, and DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) across providers like Cloudflare and Route53.
  • Process Automation: Leverage CLI tools (GAM) and Google Workspace APIs to automate bulk provisioning, migration workflows, and administrative tasks.
  • Change Management & Client Advisory: Act as the trusted technical lead during deployments—guiding non-technical stakeholders through platform changes, workflow shifts, and post-go-live support with clarity and empathy.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Serve as the final escalation point for diagnostic challenges, including DNS propagation delays, sync errors, and API quota management.

Requirements

  • Experience & Seniority: 3+ years of overall experience working with SaaS or Cloud platforms, including hands-on experience administering or configuring Google Workspace
  • Tooling & Technical Stack: Deep, practical experience using Google Workspace Migration Tools (GWMMO, GWMME, GCPME), GAM, Google APIs, and advanced DNS management platforms.
  • Identity & Authentication: Hands-on experience configuring SSO, SAML, and Directory Integrations using major Identity Providers (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID).
  • Protocol & Security Mastery: Sharp, fundamental understanding of email architecture, routing, and verification protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX record prioritization).
  • Project Ownership & Detail Focus: Proven track record of taking full technical accountability for migration outcomes with zero tolerance for unverified data or skipped DNS validation.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to explain complex technical migrations clearly to non-technical business leaders.
  • Languages: B2/C1 (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced) English for leading technical discovery meetings, client presentations, and documentation.

Would be a plus

  • Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with additional cloud identity providers or third-party email security gateways (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast).
  • Scripting capability (Python, Apps Script, or Bash) to extend Google Workspace APIs and automated workflows.

Work Conditions

  • Flexible Work Format: Work remotely, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life efficiently.
  • Training with Leading Cloud Products: Access in-depth training on cutting-edge cloud and SaaS solutions, enhancing your expertise and equipping you with the tools to succeed in an ever-evolving industry.
  • International Collaboration: Work alongside A-players and seasoned professionals in the cloud industry.
  • Global Exposure: Expand your expertise by engaging with international markets across the EMEA region.
  • Vibrant Team Environment: Be part of an innovative, dynamic team that fosters both personal and professional growth, creating opportunities for you to advance in your career.
