Senior C++ Engineer

We’re building a new product team and looking for the first key engineer to join the project.

This is not a role where you’ll simply contribute to an existing codebase. You’ll have real ownership over architecture, technical decisions, engineering standards, and the foundation of the product from day one.

The project is in the MilTech space, involving UAVs and telemetry systems.

What you’ll do

• Build a C++ system from scratch, from architecture to production
• Design scalable and maintainable software
• Work with multithreading, concurrency, performance, and memory management
• Make key technical and architectural decisions
• Help establish engineering processes, standards, and best practices
• Eventually contribute to building and shaping the engineering team

Requirements

• Strong Modern C++ (C++17/20) experience
• Solid understanding of:
  • Systems programming
  • Memory management, RAII, smart pointers
  • Multithreading and concurrency
• Strong STL knowledge: containers, algorithms, iterators
• Understanding of algorithmic complexity (O(1), O(log n), etc.)
• Strong OOP knowledge and SOLID principles
• Experience with architectural/design patterns
• Git, CMake, GCC/Clang
• Experience with linters and static code analysis
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical outcomes

Nice to have

You don't need experience with all of these. A strong C++ foundation and willingness to learn are more important.

• Networking: TCP/UDP, sockets, asynchronous I/O
• MAVLink: telemetry and command communication with UAVs/robotics
• GStreamer: video-stream processing, H.264/H.265 encoding/decoding, low-latency pipelines

Who we're looking for

Strong Middle or Senior engineer.

We're looking for someone who can operate independently, make technical decisions, and eventually help shape the engineering team.

❌ Not a fit: candidates with only superficial knowledge of C++, multithreading, or networking. We need hands-on engineering experience, not just exposure to these technologies.
