Node.js / NestJS Backend Developer

We are looking for a Node.js / NestJS Backend Developer with 2+ years of commercial experience to join our team and work on modern backend systems, integrations, and APIs.

We’re looking for someone who is confident with TypeScript and NestJS, understands backend architecture, and actively uses modern AI tools to speed up development. AI-assisted development and vibe coding are part of our workflow, so experience with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
• Build and integrate REST APIs
• Design and work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
• Work with Prisma ORM, including schemas and migrations
• Implement authentication and authorization flows
• Work with Redis, caching, and background jobs
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Use Docker for local development and deployment
• Write unit and API/e2e tests
• Participate in code reviews and Git-based development workflows

• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, debugging, refactoring, and implementation

   

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Commercial experience with NestJS
• Good understanding of async/await, promises, event loop, and Node.js fundamentals
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with Prisma or another ORM such as TypeORM
• Strong understanding of REST API design
• Experience with JWT authentication and role/permission-based authorization
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose
• Experience with Git workflows in a development team (branches, pull requests, code reviews)
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Jest or other backend testing tools
• Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of the development workflow
• Experience with WhatsApp Business Cloud API and/or Facebook Marketing API
• Hands-on experience with Claude Fable 5 or similar AI-assisted development tools
   

Nice to Have

• BullMQ or other background job/queue systems
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or similar)
• AWS or GCP experience
• Understanding of OWASP and backend security best practices
• Logging, monitoring, health checks, and observability
• Facebook OAuth
• Facebook Marketing API
• WhatsApp Business Cloud API
• Experience working with AI models, AI integrations, or fine-tuning

• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI development tools
