Full-Stack Developer (Python + React)

About the Role

Osambit is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join the Climatise project — a modern SaaS platform that helps organizations measure, manage, and report their carbon emissions. The platform automates carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, supplier engagement, and emissions analysis, enabling businesses to comply with regulatory frameworks while reducing manual effort.

You'll work across both frontend and backend, developing cloud-native services, scalable APIs, and intuitive user interfaces while collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers.
 

What You'll Do

• Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build modern frontend applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Design and implement GraphQL APIs
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries
• Build cloud-native applications on AWS
• Participate in infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new product features
   

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
• Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Experience with AWS, including services such as:
  • Lambda
  • DynamoDB
  • S3
  • AppSync
  • CloudWatch
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Good understanding of cloud-native application architecture
• Experience working with logging, monitoring, and observability tools
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and modern web application architecture
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)
• Familiarity with serverless architectures
• Experience with messaging technologies (SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis
• Experience building SaaS or enterprise platforms
• Interest in sustainability, ESG, or climate technology
